Step 1: Initiate by drawing the leaf

In this carrot drawing for kids tutorial, we shall start from sketching its leaf. So, draw four oval shape greens at the top of the carrot. Keep in mind these greens are shoul be long and narrow. 

Don’t worry about the size of the leaves, they can be any length you’d like them to be.

Step 2: Draw Carrot’s Outline

First, sketch the basic outlines and form of your carrot, smaller and more pointed towards the bottom, and thicker at the top. Imagine it as somewhat of a triangle with an upside-down form.

Step 3: Draw Carrot’s Ridges

Next, sketch the lines found on a carrot. Remember that a carrot isn’t perfectly smooth. There are several ridges and cuts surrounding it. All you need to do is draw simple lines around the carrot, as shown in the sample image.
