Let us see how to draw a submarine, from the upcoming guidelines. Here are 7 easy and simple to be followed to sketch your cartoon submarine.
Step 1: Initiate from the submarine’s body
Start by sketching an asymmetrical oval form. This creates the submarine’s hull. Enclose an irregular circular form at the back of the hull with a curved line. This is one of the submarine’s back rudders.
Step 2: Draw the propeller
Draw the submarine’s propeller from its rear. First, create a semicircle with the rudders enclosed inside. Once the fan-like blades are enclosed, extend curving lines and fold them back upon themselves.
Step 3: Sketch the Periscope
Above the submarine’s hull, draw a narrow horizontal oval. We’ll call this the sail plane. Drawing the periscope, a device used to see above the water, comes next. Cut out an oval that attach above the submarine’s tower and use two lines to secure it there.
Step 4: Add a porthole or window
Make two round rivets. Next, add a porthole or window by drawing a circle inside a circle on the hull’s side. And keep dots in a circular motion, it resembles the nut in windows.
Step 5: Adding Hydroplanes
To complete the body of the submarine, next you should draw wings, called “Hydroplanes” on the top and bottom of the hull.
Step 5: Coloring Time
Add your cartoon submarine some colour. Usually, they have a grey or black colour. But use your imagination. Or else you can color yellow as shown in the picture.
Step 7: Add some Water Bubbles
Finally, you can add some water bubbles around the submarine to look realistic.
