Hey Kids, I Hope you are excited today to draw something spooky. Today you are going to meet the iconic character from the offbeat and quirky Addams Family! Guess who?  It is Wednesday.

I hope you are familiar with the Family. Wednesday is a mysterious yet endearing character known for her dark humour and unique style. Despite her love for all things eerie, Wednesday possesses a sharp intellect adding depth to her character. In this blog post, we will learn “Wednesday Addams Drawing” in easy steps.

So, let’s get started of Wednesday Addams Drawing.

Step 1: Sketching the Head

Start by drawing a big balloon shape for Wednesday’s face. It’s like drawing a circle, but a bit stretched at the bottom, That’s the beginning of our spooky and cool ‘Wednesday Addams Drawing | Character Drawing Step-by-Step for kids’

Step 2: Making the Collar of her Dress

Let’s make her dress’s collar. Start with a curvy small line first on the left below her head, another curvy line where the first one ends and join it with the balloon-shaped head. Now make another shape like that on the right side. It looks like a fancy old-fashioned collar. Wednesday’s style is as unique as she is.

Step 3: Adding her Braids

Time for her long, beautiful hair and braids. We start with making the partition first in her head and now we keep a fixed distance and create two more curvy lines around her balloon-shaped head. Next, draw some nearly rounded/oval shapes for her braids. Yaay! We successfully

finished her braids.

Step 4: Outlining her Body

In Step 3, Let’s outline her body. To do that put your marker in the ending of her collar and start creating lines distinguishing her shoulder and arms. Now, we can draw the remaining details on her picture. Ready to explore?

Step 5: Adding Details in the Picture

In this step, We add some of her facial details like two rounded eyes, a pair of eyebrows, a small curvy nose and a little quirky smile.

Step 6: Adding more details

Finish completing her eyes by adding a pair of eyelids and two rounded black colour-filled eyes. Adding a simple line on her dress and a small olive shape for the button will make the picture look great. And, it is nearly finished. You just have to put your favourite colours to give her a personalized human touch. We will be doing that in the next step.

Step 7: Putting Colours on our Wednesday Addams Drawing

Take a flesh-tint colour and fill it in her face. Next, you need a dark green or black to colour her outfit. Wednesday prefers a muted black palette for her day-to-day style. I used deep green here so that it will be easier for you to distinguish her braids and her outfit. It is taking shape. Great job !

Step 8: Filling Black in Her Hair

Take your marker or your coloured pencil and make her hair black, please do not forget to make the braids black too. It’s Fantastic! You can add more green to her outfit to make the look spooky.

Step 9: Finishing the overall Picture

We are in the last step of our ‘Wednesday Addams Drawing’, where we add black colour to the buttons we created earlier. Add some blue on her eyelids if you want to.
