Without further delay let’s begin the fun of drawing together!
Lets Begin to Draw a Cute Elephant Step by Step
Step 1: Drawing the Elephant’s Head
To Draw a Cute Elephant Step by Step, lets start drawing our cute elephant, let’s create its head.
Draw a big, almost round shape, but leave a space open at the bottom. Think of it like making a circle, but not closing it all the way. This shape is going to be the elephant’s head.
Step 2: Creating the Elephant’s Trunk
Awesome job on the head! Now, let’s give our elephant a trunk.
Starting from the little gap at the bottom of the circle you drew earlier, draw a long, curvy line that loops down and then back up again. That’s the trunk!
Make it curvy and playful! Add some smaller curvy lines on the trunk to show its folds and twists, just like a bendy, twisty straw.
Step 3: Adding the Elephant’s Ears
Time to give our elephant some super big ears! On either side of the head, draw two big, floppy ear shapes. Elephants have the coolest ears that are shaped a bit like giant leaves or even like a really big letter “C” on each side of their heads.
Make them as big and as floppy as you like! They’re like the elephant’s own special listening devices.
Once you’ve got those ears in place, our elephant is really starting to take shape!
Step 4: Adding the Elephant’s Eyes and Dimples
Now, let’s give our elephant some friendly eyes!
Draw two small upside-down ‘c’ inside the head, near the middle but a bit towards the top. Keep a little bit of space between them. These are the elephant’s eyes.
Next, add two small dimples or curves right below the eyes. These are our buddy’s friendly smiley dimples. Elephants have these cute dimples that make them look super friendly and adorable.
Our elephant is really starting to look lively now! You’re doing fantastic! Ready to keep going and finish up our cute drawing?
Step 5: Drawing the Elephant’s Body
Now, let’s give our elephant a body!
Draw two curvy lines that start from the bottom of the head and go down in a vase-like shape. These lines will form the sides of our elephant’s body. Elephants have big, round bodies, so make these lines nice and curvy!
As we all know, elephants have four strong legs. Make the two front legs clear as shown in the picture and keep a small space between them. They’re like sturdy columns holding up our buddy.
Remember, it’s okay if they’re not perfect! Our elephant is unique, just like your drawing. Great work! We’re almost there. Ready to keep going?
Step 6: Adding the Elephant’s Tail and Leg Details
For the finishing touch, let’s draw a small tail at the back of the body. It’s like a little rope or a thin curvy line that sticks out from the back. Elephants use their tails to swish away flies and bugs!
Now, let’s add some details to our elephant’s legs. Draw small lines at the bottom of the legs to show the elephant’s toenails or fingernails. They’re like little half-circles or ovals at the end of each leg.
Ta-da! Our cute elephant buddy drawing is complete! You did an amazing job, artist!
