Fun Train Fact 🚂
Did you know?
There exist trains that can move at speeds higher than 300 kilometers per hour. High-speed trains make it easy for people to get to where they want to be and are some of the fastest methods of transport on earth.
Step 1: Start Your Train Drawing with the Engine Front
Let’s start off by drawing an oval shape in the left part of the page. This oval shape gives the front of the engine.
It is important to ensure that the oval shape looks good since this will give the face of our train. Remember that our engine is round in shape.
Step 2: Draw the Train Engine Body
To make our train, we need to draw the engine body after creating its head.
Trains have large engines at the front because they provide the power needed to drag the whole train.
Step 3: Draw the Cabin
Next, draw a vertical line behind the engine as well as another line to the right from the previous one. They will help you to form the train’s cabin structure.
Cabin is the part of the train, where the driver of the locomotive sits. At this stage, your train is already starting to get a realistic look.
Step 4: Form the Roof
Connect the cabin by means of a large arc with a rounded shape in order to make the roof of the train.
By drawing the roof, your drawing starts taking on a complete look.
Step 5: Complete the Train Drawing with Wheels and Details
Finally, add three big wheels under the locomotive. Then add small circles inside these wheels. Also, draw a chimney on the top of the engine and a small rectangular window on the cabin.
These elements make the train really interesting. Your train has become complete.
Step 6: Begin Painting the Train
Choose a yellow marker and paint the roof, bottom part, and front of the train engine. The window should be colored using light blue paint.
Painting a train using vivid colors helps in making the train look cheerful and attractive. Creating such drawings is really enjoyable.
Step 7: Adding More Paints
Next, pick a blue marker and paint the body of the engine and the main cabin section of the train. For now, leave the wheels without painting.
Blue and yellow paints give an interesting train which children will definitely enjoy playing with.
Step 8: Completing the Drawings
Finally, paint the wheels black and draw some connecting bars between them. A few lines on the front bumper will add more details.
Well done! Your drawing of a train is now ready. You have successfully made a cheerful train which is ready for an adventurous ride.
