Hello Young minds, Hope you are well. Ready to explore the surprise we brought to you?
Ho ho ho! It’s that time of the year again when Santa Claus comes to town. Today we are going to learn how to draw ‘Santa Claus’ easily following just 8 super simple steps.
Before that, Would you like to know more about our favourite Santa Claus? Here we go Santa Claus Drawing.
Santa Claus is a beloved figure known for spreading joy and happiness to children all over the world. He lives in the North Pole. He is known for his big belly, white beard and red suit.
Did you know that Santa Claus is based on Saint Nicholas, a real person who has a reputation for secret gift-giving, especially to the poor and needy?
Let’s start our ‘Santa Claus Drawing‘ now.
Step 1: Starting with the Hat
To start the drawing we need to sketch the hat. Make a curvy line first and then, two upward small curvy lines from each of the endings of the former one. Now, join these two endings with another line, a little bit curvy.
Step 2: Finishing the Outline of his Hat
In this step, we draw a big curvy line and two more curvy lines to give the Hat its shape. This will create the outline of our Santa’s Hat. We add a small round shape and add it where these curvy lines join. There you go. You just finished drawing the Hat. Amazing.
Step 3: Sketching the Face
Now, we start the crucial part of our Santa Claus Drawing. It is his face. Draw two simple curvy lines and keep the bottom part open. Next, you add two ‘c’ shapes for the eyes of our Santa and a small oval/rounded shape for his nose.
To add his moustache, we start drawing two curvy lines again from the bottom of his nose and join them, just like we did for his Hat, but this time giving it the shape of a fluffy moustache.
Step 4: Finishing the Face in Santa Claus Drawing
Well, now we start drawing his famous beard. To do so, you need to make curvy lines starting just beneath his Hat and keep drawing these lines until you reach the bottom and join them, making a sharp point below. Add two small blushes on his face.
Looks good!
Step 5: Making His Body
Once you are done with the face, start making his body. Draw two curvy lines here from each side emerging beneath the beard. Now, draw two parallel lines to the centre from both sides and join them, make two rectangular shapes and you are good to go with his broad buckle belt. You need to draw two more lines on his suit to distinguish the furry white and red when we start colouring him later.
Step 6: Completing His Suit
Let’s finish making his suit completely. Draw a furry white layer below after you finish Step 5, just the way it is shown in the picture. This will complete his suit. It is taking shape now. Good work!
Step 7: Adding his Legs
It’s time that we add his legs to the picture. Draw two small cup-shaped pants and make him stand on the ground in his small shoes. We are making it super easy and super simple.
Step 8: Adding his Arms
In this step of Santa Claus Drawing, we add his Arms. Draw two curvy lines that will represent his arms, followed by a layer of fat white furry border and make two hands in gloves just below it.
Can you see you have just outlined our Santa Clause? Next, we will put colours in the picture. Are you excited to colour-fill it?
Step 9: Colouring our Santa
Yayy! You have come this far and it is only a few steps you need to take to make our drawing completely awesome. Are you ready with your colour pencils?
Take a Flesh coloured pencil and fill it in his face. Then, Take a red one, and start colouring his Suit, Gloves, Shoes and Hat. You can make his shoes black if you want. Do not forget to make his blush look pink. There you go. It looks really cute at this point.
Step 10: Finishing Touches to our Drawing
Finally we have come toour last step. Here we have some parts left to fill colour, let’s do that. Take a brown colour pencil and start filling in his belt and the visible portion of his pants.
Done! Our picture is Chrismas ready.
